About Us

Why Safe Hands Foundation??

  • Higher education in India is still a dream for any economically backward community. Only 7 out of 100 at this level are able to continue their education beyond Class 10.
  • We realize that an all-important part of life is Higher Education, because that is what shapes one's career.
  • We are working with different NGOs by joining our safest hands with them for this common cause. We intend to facilitate a better future for the children from economically backward communities, through the medium called EDUCATION & AWARENESS.
  • Apart from lack of Education & Awareness, there are several factors which are affecting our society. It is our responsibility to serve the society in whatever means we can.
  • Providing just an Education to a Destitute will be of no use. Hence, we extended our support, diversified our actvities and divided them into different projects such as providing Medical Assistance, Shelter, Rehabilitation etc. Thus serving the poor & needy by all means.
  • Safe Hands Foundation does not have any salaried employees. It is fully managed by volunteers thus having no overhead costs. It means 100% of the funds raised will reach the needy.

About Members

  • We, the members of Safe Hands Foundation, have worked to support the Society during our higher education without any involvement of external financial support.
  • We used to share our books, materials, teach the academic subjects and tried to spread the awareness and importance of education in the students with a non-profit motive.
  • After starting our job career, we have continued same kind of support by forming as a small group in 2007 and started helping the poor and needy up to our extent.
  • We have participated in various social welfare programs conducted by various NGOs and even supported them financially up to small extent from our pockets.
  • In Nov, 2008, we decided to extend our support by involving more volunteers in our activities and we have registered our group as Safe Hands Foundation by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • All the members and volunteers of Safe Hands Foundation are well-educated, have strong enthusiasm and commitment to help the poor and needy.

Objectives - What we do:

  • To provide financial assistance to meritorious students to continue their higher Studies with the guidance and even with the support of other non-profit organizations, corporates and Individuals who have urge to contribute their share for the society.
  • To increase the awareness and importance of higher educations among the students by conducting career guidance presentations.
  • To arrange health check-ups, medical treatment and other health related assistance for needy and deserving people free of cost or at concessional cost.
  • To provide relief in cash or kind for the uplift in any manner of all class of people including the backward, the helpless, the destitute, orphans or deserving people in times of natural calamities, emergency scarcities, havoc of floods, fire, famine, earthquake or calamities like civil commotions, riots, war etc.
  • To build and maintain Oldage homes, Orphanages etc, thus providing shelter to the needy.
